At the Winter Solstice we practice dreaming with the Earth because it is a time of turning inward; at the Spring Equinox we wake up and set our intentions for the months ahead. Now at the Summer Solstice it is time to tune into the endless humming and buzzing of the earth.
As F. Scott Fitzgerald said: "And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had that familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer."(The Great Gatsby).
It is summer time which is a time for doing, for achieving and striving and moving. It is a time for being busy, for getting our work done, for letting life enter us and move us, for letting the sun’s heat energize us. It is a time for showing up.
