About Argerie

Argerie Vasilakes, Director of Strategic Innovation and Consulting, brings a long history of intrapreneurialism to her consulting. As an organization development (OD) leader, she worked with senior leaders, cross-functional teams and collaborations across sectors and value chains to create more interconnected and resilient workforces. She promoted collective leadership to grow overall capabilities and processes for innovation, collaboration and sustainability. Her experience includes leading the design and implementation of leadership development strategies and programs, succession planning processes for high potential leaders, and sustainability leadership competencies. She helped lead a global culture change initiative and has designed and facilitated several Appreciative Inquiry summits and other sessions seeking large-scale change. She specializes in identifying and mitigating the inhibiting effects of biases and mental models on the bottom line. She co-authored, “Transforming Ourselves to Transform Our Organizations,” for a peer-reviewed organization development journal, and continues to write about the role of the conscious self in healthy systems. She was the GOJO OD Fellow from 2015 to 2016.

As a professor in the Ursuline College MBA program, she co-designed and facilitated a socially-conscious human resources course. She and her colleague Nurete Brenner are developing a course on ecological leadership to launch in 2020 at the Lake Erie Institute.

Argerie holds a Master of Science in Positive Organization Development and Change from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University, an M.Ed. from Cleveland State University and certifications and honors in organizational and individual learning and OD practice and leadership.
