WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
In this workshop I will share insights into our global crisis and the birth of the Future Human that surfaced during my 20 years of working with psychedelics described in my book, LSD and the Mind of the Universe (forthcoming, 2019)

The renaissance of psychedelic research is documenting that psychedelics can evoke deep states of healing when used responsibility in a therapeutic setting. Going further, it is also demonstrating that psychedelics can yield deep encounters not only with our personal unconscious but with the mind of the universe itself.

One of the most stable and recurring visionary experiences of my psychedelic work has been that humanity is coming to an evolutionary impasse in history and that a higher order of human consciousness is being born from this crisis. Our planet is giving birth to the Future Human, and much fast than we think.

But what does this mean? What does a “higher order of consciousness” actually look like and what form might the Future Human take? Most importantly, how can we cooperate with the evolutionary pressures that are building to recreate our lives?

Topics will include:

  • Psychedelics and visionary experience
  • The synergy of individual awakening and collective awakening
  • Reincarnation and the birth of the Diamond Soul
  • The birth of the Future Human in history
  • The new foundation of human consciousness

Dr. Christopher M. Bache is professor emeritus in the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at Youngstown State University where he taught for 33 years. He is also adjunct faculty at the California Institute of Integral Studies and a Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. An award winning teacher, Chris’ work explores the philosophical implications of non-ordinary states of consciousness, especially psychedelic states. Chris has written three books: Lifecycles - a study of reincarnation in light of contemporary consciousness research; Dark Night, Early Dawn - a pioneering work in psychedelic philosophy and collective consciousness; and The Living Classroom, an exploration of teaching and collective fields of consciousness. His new book is LSD and the Mind of the Universe (2019).
