Lake Erie Institute invites you to join Christopher Reynolds, M.Ed., John Schluep, D. Min., and Sr. Diane Pinchot, OSU, MFA, in a 2 day teach-in concerning the (re)creation of a winter solstice ritual.
Through songs, art, storytelling, movement, lecture,
talking circle and earth-based ritual, you are invited to a community experience devoted to care of the world and each other.
The heart of the teach-in is a winter solstice ritual we will create together to return to right relationship with the planet, ecosystem, ancestors, season of the year, and the rite of passage now underway in Western culture since the detonation of Trinity, the first atomic bomb on July 16, 1945, at Los Alamos, New Mexico, USA.
Please pack a lunch.
Coffee, tea, snacks, water will be provided, as well as a vegan/gluten free dinner on Saturday evening.
